THERMOSTAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 WITH TC]

Remove and install all parts when the engine is cold, otherwise they can cause severe burns or serious injury.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Drain the engine coolant.
3. Remove the drive belt.
4. Remove the P/S oil pump with hoses and pipe still connected, Position the P/S oil pump out of the way.
5. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
7. Refill the engine coolant.
8. Inspect for engine coolant leakage.
