2003 - 2006 Mazda6 vehicles equipped with Manual Air Conditioning System
DESCRIPTION
Some vehicles may experience an air selector mode switch that will not switch into recirculation mode.
This condition may be cause by a lack of continuity in the mode switch.
Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1.
Verify customer concern.
2.
Record customer's pre-set radio stations.
3.
Disconnect negative battery cable.
4.
Remove climate control unit assembly according to Workshop manual (section 07-40 [] CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT
DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY L3, AJ).
