Cylinder Head Gasket: Service and Repair

Replacement

Warning:  Fuel line spills and leaks are dangerous. Fuel can ignite and cause serious injuries or death and damage. Fuel can also irritate skin
and eyes. To prevent this, always complete the "Fuel Line Safety Procedures"

1.Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2.Drain the engine coolant.
3.Remove the timing belt.
4.Remove in the order shown in the figure, referring to Removal Procedure.
5.Install in the reverse order of removal, referring to Installation Procedure.

Upper Engine

1. Air cleaner assembly
2. High-tension lead 
3. Distributor
4. Intake manifold assembly 
5. Upper radiator hose
6. Water outlet
7. No.3 engine mount bracket
