System Inspection
1. Verify that the battery is fully charged.
2. Turn the ignition switch to START and verify that the starter turns smoothly with normal operating sound while cranking.
3. If the starter does not turn, measure the voltage between terminals S and B by using a voltmeter.
Specification: More than 8 V
4. If the voltage is as specified, remove the starter and inspect the magnetic switch and starter harness. If not, check the wiring harness, ignition
switch, and transmission range sensor.
