6. Verify the duty ratio by depressing and releasing the accelerator pedal

NOTE:  The relationship between the dwell angle (°) and duty ratio (%) is as follows:

7. Depress the accelerator pedal slowly and verify that the duty ratio changes as shown in the graph.
8. If not as specified, check the powertrain control module and pressure control solenoid. Refer to Powertrain Management.
