Projection A (free length): 14.3 - 15.1 mm (0.563 - 0.594 inch)

Caution: Applying pressure of more than 9.8 kN (1,000 kgf, 2,200 lbs.) can damage the auto tensioner.

3. Slowly press in the tensioner rod using a press.

4. Insert a pin into the hole in the body as shown to hold the tensioner rod.

Pin diameter: 1.6 mm (0.063 inch)

Timing Belt Cover Installation Note

1. Install the timing belt cover (upper) and tighten the bolts in the order shown.

Tightening torque: 7.9 - 10.7 Nm (80 - 110 kgf-cm, 69.5 - 95.4 inch lbs.)

2. Install the timing belt covers (RH, LH) and tighten the bolts in the order shown.

Tightening torque: 7.9 - 10.7 Nm (80 - 110 kgf-cm, 69.5 - 95.4 inch lbs.)
