17" CHROME WHEEL CORROSION

APPLICABLE MODEL(S)/VINs
All 1999-2001 Millenia with VINs lower than JM1 TA****718366.

DESCRIPTION

Under severe conditions, 17" chrome wheels may exhibit corrosion or pitting. As a mass-production change, the following three counter measures have
been implemented: chrome plating thickness has been increased, inner wheel surface has been modified, and a corrosion prohibiting agent has been
applied to the wheel surface.

Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1.

Verify customer concern.

2.

Replace affected wheel(s).

3.

Verify repair.
