Intake Air Temperature Sensor: Testing and Inspection
Intake Air Temp (IAT) Sensor Inspection

1. Remove the IAT sensor (air cleaner).
2. Place the sensor and a thermometer in the water.

Specification

3. Gradually heat the water and measure the resistance of the sensor using an ohmmeter.

If not as specified, replace the IAT sensor (Air cleaner).

Tightening torque: 

7.9 - 11.7 N.m {80 - 120 kg.cm, 70 - 104 in.lb}
