TIE ROD DISASSEMBLY NOTE
1. Unclamp the washer.
2. Remove the tie rod using the Special Service Tool (SST).
LOCKNUT DISASSEMBLY NOTE
1. Remove the locknut using the SST.
ADJUSTING COVER DISASSEMBLY NOTE
1. Remove the adjusting cover using the SST.
PINION SHAFT COMPONENT DISASSEMBLY NOTE
1. Remove the pinion shaft component by tapping lightly on the head of the pinion shaft using a plastic hammer.
