Rear

Rear Cooling Unit Case

Removal

1.  Discharge the refrigeration system. 
2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3.  Remove the left-rear side trim. 

4.  Disconnect the high-pressure and low-pressure pipes.

5.  Disconnect the rear cooling unit connectors.
6.  Remove the nuts and bolts and the rear cooling unit case.

Installation

-

Install in the reverse order of removal, referring to the installation note.

Installation Note:

-

If the evaporator is replaced, add compressor oil to the compressor.

Compressor oil: 50.0 cm3 (3.05 cu.in) 
Tightening torque

High-pressure pipe fitting: 12.8-14.7 N.m (130-150 kgf.cm, 113-130 in.lbf) 
Low-pressure pipe fitting: 31-34 N.m (3.1-3.5 kgf.m, 23-25 ft.lbf)
