DESCRIPTION
If you encounter a complaint of the blower motor running while the blower switch is OFF but the IG switch is ON, the wiring harness may be grounded
in the area shown below. This is caused by unprotected wires rubbing on the dash frame behind the audio unit.
The protector instaffed in this area has been lengthened for more reliable protection since the production date of July 1, 1989.

REPAIR PROCEDURE
If you encounter the above mentioned complaint, remove the audio unit and inspect the area shown for short circuit. Repair the wire harness if necessary.
