Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Service and Repair

Bypass Air Control Valve Removal

1.

Disconnect wiring connectors and remove the BAC valve mounting screws.

2.

Remove the BAC valve from the vehicle.

Bypass Air Control Valve Installation

3.

Remove any dirt or old sealant from the mating surfaces.

4.

Apply sealant to both sides of the gasket and install the valve to the vehicle.

5.

Tighten the mounting screws to 2.5-3.4 Nm (25-35 cm-kg, 22-30 in lbs.) and reconnect the wiring connectors.
