Rear Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair
Power Window Regulator

REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the rear door glass. (See REAR DOOR GLASS AND GUIDE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3. Disconnect the rear power window regulator.
4. Remove the nuts, then remove the rear power window regulator.

Tightening torque: 
6.87 - 9.80 N.m {70 - 100 kgf.cm, 60.8 - 86.7 in.lbf}

REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY

1. Disassemble in the order indicated below.

1. Cover
2. Power window motor

(See Power Window Motor Assembly Note)

3. Frame

2. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

Power Window Motor Assembly Note

NOTE:  The cable must be held to install the drum; install with another person.

1. Press the cable as shown to remove any slack. (1)
2. Install the drum to the power window motor.
