A/C O-RING INSTALLATION
DESCRIPTION
A procedure for A/C O-ring installation has been developed. Be sure to follow this procedure to eliminate refrigerant leaks and unnecessary repairs.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1.
Before installing the O-ring, inspect the pipe/ hose for any damage.
2.
Verify the O-ring is clean and free from defects. Place O-ring on pipe. Be sure it is seated properly (figure 1).
3.
Lightly apply oil to the O-ring with refrigerant oil. Do not oil the threads or connecting hose seat (figure 2).
