The riveting method of center interior light bulb holder (MPV) has been changed. Refer to Fig. 2.

DOME LIGHT BULB APPLICATION CHART

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1.

Verify concern.

2.

Replace bulb with a modified one.

3.

Check the bulb holder for the installation condition (voltage drop), and replace the interior mirror assembly with a new one if necessary (MPV
Only). Refer to inspection procedure.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE FOR INTERIOR MIRROR LAMP - MPV only

1.

Turn the center interior light switch ON to See if the bulb illuminates. If it does not, remove lens.

2.

Replace the bulb with a modified one.

3.

Turn the light on, and measure the voltage at positions (A) and (B) on the bulb holder (digital voltmeter is recommended for this work).

4.

If there is more than 100mV difference between (A) and (B), poor contact of bulb holder is thought to be a cause.
