DESCRIPTION

The A/T position indicator and the window plate (meter hood) of the meter set has been modified since the January 1, 1989 production.

Because of this modification, the indicator and the window plate, which is a component part of the meter set, are not interchangeable with those installed
on the vehicles produced before January 1, 1989.

Before replacement of the indicator or window plate (meter hood), check the production date (or V.I.N.).

NOTE:
Installing the modified indicator or the window plate on an old vehicle (production before January 1, 1989) causes the A/T position indicator to operate
out of position.
