Connect wire connector (N) (blue) to the solenoid valve (pressure regulator control valve).

6.

Fasten wire harness (6) and vacuum hose (c) (on the protector) using band (4).

7.

Reconnect black connector (H) to the fuel pressure regulator solenoid.

C. Replacement of the Control Unit

1.

Lift up the passenger's seat floor mat and remove the protector cover.

2.

Disconnect the control unit wire connector and replace the control unit with the countermeasure unit.

3.

Reinstall the removed parts in the reverse order of removal.

D. Adjustment of Idle Speed

Adjust the idle speed to the specifications outlined in the applicable Workshop Manual.

E. Verification of Repair Kit Function

Verify that negative pressure is not applied to the fuel pressure regulator and that vacuum is applied to the distributor for 20 seconds after starting the
engine.
