Dashpot: Adjustments
1.
Start engine and warm up to operating temperature.
2.
Connect tachometer.
3.
Slowly increase engine speed and check that throttle lever looses contact with the dashpot when engine speed is between 3,200 - 3,800 rpm.
If not, loosen lock nut and turn dashpot until proper position is obtained, then tighten locknut.
