AFFECTED VINS
This bulletin applies to vehicles with a VIN of JM3LV****N0454877 or lower produced through July 31, 1992.
This bulletin does not apply to vehicles with a VIN equal to or greater than JM3LV****N0454878 and produced after July 31, 1992.
DESCRIPTION
On some vehicles, the hinge on the rear wiper arm may develop rust. The hinge may become stiff resulting in decreased pressure of the blade against the
rear glass.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
If the above condition exists, replace the rear wiper arm with a modified part. The modified part has been improved with a new rust-resistant material.
Removal and installation procedures are outlined in Section S of the applicable Workshop Manual.
