CONDITION OF CONCERN
On all vehicles, the brake system does not meet the brake stopping distance with partial failure requirement of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard
(FMVSS) No. 135, which states that the stopping distance from a 100km/h (62 mph) test speed should be below 168 m (551 ft.) This safety standard
establishes a minimum stopping distance for vehicles that have experienced a partial failure of the braking system. If a partial failure occurred in the
braking system, the stopping distance of the vehicle could increase, increasing the risk of an accident.
