SECOND ROW SEAT BELT BUCKLE REPLACEMENT

All 2000 MPV with VINs lower than JM3LW2BG*Y0 151914.
DESCRIPTION
With some vehicles it may be difficult to securely fasten a child safety seat to the second row seats. After properly securing the child seat (according to
the instructions provided by the child seat manufacturer), the child seat may still exhibit excessive movement. This may be caused by the design of the
child seat in combination with the vehicle's seat belt buckle being fixed at a 45 degree angle, causing a small amount of slack in the seat belt. A modified
seat belt buckle assembly that rotates backwards is now available to correct this concern.
Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the repair procedure shown.
