Sunroof / Moonroof Motor: Service and Repair

Removal

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the front headliner.
3. Disconnect the sunroof motor connector.
4. Remove the sunroof motor installation screws, and remove the sunroof motor.

Installation

1. Open the glass panel 200 mm (7.87 in) from the front end of the deflector.

2. Turn the sunroof motor by using an allen wrench until the motor limit switch reaches the position shown in the figure.
3. Install the sunroof motor installation screws.
4. Connect the sunroof motor connector.
5. Install the front headliner.
