If resistance is not tight at all 8 locations, remove headliner (refer to WSM) and perform Condition B.

If other conditions are observed, remove the decoration cover with the glass panel closed, and adjust the position of the glass panel by
loosening the glass panel installation nuts (refer to Workshop Manual), then inspect for tightness.
CAUTION:
Be careful not to break the roof panel and the weatherstrip when inserting the card.
CONDITION "A" - Drain Hose Inspection and Replacement
1.
Verify that the sunroof drain hoses (front & rear) are not pinched or bent near the drain hole(s), specifically the rear drain hole, and there is no
interference at the trims or the headliner. If any problem is found, correct it.
NOTE:

Verify that the hose, installed parallel to the roof, is not loosened (pay close attention to the location shown in FIGURE 2). If any problem is
found, correct it

If vehicle VIN is lower than V0827526, replace drain hose with modified part P/N: LA90-69-922.
NOTE:
If hose replacement is necessary, insert old hose into the end of the new hose and apply electrical tape to secure it in position. Pull drain hose
up through body, then remove tape and attach drain hose to sunroof frame.
3.
Confirm that the problem was corrected and there are no signs of leakage present.

If leak is detected, go to Condition B.

If no leak is detected, reassemble headliner.
CONDITION "B" - Sealing the Sunroof Area
1.
Remove the sunroof unit (frame) from the vehicle, refer to Workshop Manual for removal procedure.
