Parking Brake Lever: Service and Repair
1. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
2. Install in the reverse order of removal indicated in the table.

Tighten mounting bolts to 19 - 25 Nm (14 - 18 ft.lbs.).
NOTE:

Install the parking brake switch so that it contacts the parking brake lever when the lever is fully released.

Turn the ignition switch to ON, and check that the parking brake warning light illuminates with the lever pulled one notch.
3. After installation, check the parking brake lever stroke.
