Fuel Pressure Regulator: Testing and Inspection
Fuel Pressure (Running)
WARNING: Fuel line spills and leaks are dangerous. Fuel can ignite and cause serious injuries or death and damage. Fuel can also irritate skin
and eyes. To prevent this, always complete the "FUEL PRESSURE RELEASE PROCEDURE".
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Install the fuel pressure gauge between the fuel filter and the fuel distributor.(lnstall clamps as shown.)
3. Connect the negative battery cable.
4. Connect the data link connector terminals F/P and GND with a jumper wire.
5. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
6. Measure the fuel line pressure.
Fuel line pressure: 265 - 313 kPa (38-46 psi)
