4. Allow the shaft to turn counterclockwise and note the torque when continuity is lost. Specified torque is 2.5 - 4.9 Nm (22 - 43 inch lbs.).
5. Turn the shaft counterclockwise as in steps 3 and 4, and check for continuity and torque reading.
6. Connect the ohmmeter between terminals E and H, and verify that there is no continuity.
7. Turn the shaft clockwise by using the SST until continuity is shown.
8. Allow the shaft to turn counterclockwise and note the torque when continuity is lost. Specified torque is 6.9 - 12.7 Nm (61 - 112 inch lbs.).
9. Turn the shaft counterclockwise as in steps 7 and 8 and check for continuity and torque reading.
10. If not as specified, replace the change motor.
