DISASSEMBLY / ASSEMBLY 

1. Disassemble in the order indicated in the illustration.
2. Inspect all parts, repair or replace as necessary.

NOTE:  If a valve does not slide out under its own weight, place the valve body open-side down and tap on the valve body lightly with a plastic
hammer.

WARNING:  Using compressed air can cause dirt and other particles to fly out, causing injury to the eyes. Wear protective eye wear
whenever using compressed air.

3. Clean all parts and bores by using compressed air and apply ATF to them immediately before assembly.
4. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly indicated in the illustration, referring to assembly procedure.

Assembly Procedure 
1. Measure the spring specifications.
2. If not as specified, replace the spring(s).
3. Insert the servo charger valve, spring, and plug.
4. Insert the stopper pin while pushing the plug.
5. Insert the 3-2 timing valve and spring.

6. Insert the retainer while compressing the spring.
7. Insert the first reducing valve and spring.
8. Insert the retainer while compressing the spring.
9. Insert the modifier accumulator valve and spring.
