Bearing (Front) (18)
NOTE: The bearing does not need to be removed unless it is being replaced.
Remove the bearing by using the Special Service Tool (SST).
Bearing (Rear) (19)
NOTE: The bearing does not need to be removed unless it is being replaced.
Remove the bearing by using the SST.
Assembly Note
2-4 Shift Fork (2)
1. Assemble the 2-4 shift fork and rod. Verify that the shift fork moves smoothly on the rod.
2. Measure the inner diameter of the bushing. Measure three times and average the results. Inner diameter standard is 14.025 - 14.096 mm
(0.5522 - 0.5550 inch) and a maximum 14.100 mm (0.5551 inch).
