MAZDA LABEL DETACHES FROM REAR SEAT ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM FLAT PANEL DISPLAY

All 2000 MPVs equipped with a Rear Seat Entertainment System (RSES).
DESCRIPTION
Some vehicles equipped with a Rear Seat Entertainment System (RSES) may have the Mazda label or the Flat Panel Display (FPD) out of position or
beginning to peel off. This may be caused by a combination of poor adhesion and the shape of the label. A new Mazda label, which is flat in shape, is
now available to correct this condition.
Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following procedure.

Be sure to inspect inventory vehicles for this concern and repair as necessary.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1.
Verify customer concern.
2.
Depress button on the FPD assembly and lower the FPD.
3.
Using a fiber stick, or equivalent tool, remove and discard the old Mazda label.
Caution:

The use of sharp or metal tools may damage the FPD housing.
4.
Use a lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol to remove any remaining glue residue from the label area.
