Power Trunk / Liftgate Lock Actuator: Testing and Inspection

LIFTGATE LOCK ACTUATOR INSPECTION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the liftgate lower trim.
3. Disconnect the liftgate lock actuator connector.

4. Apply battery positive voltage to the liftgate lock actuator terminals and inspect the operation of the liftgate lock actuator.

If not as specified, replace the liftgate lock.
