Side Air Bag: Service Precautions

When the side air bag module deploys due to a collision, the interior of the seat back (pad, frame, etc.) may become damaged. If the seat back is reused
and the side air bag module does not deploy properly, a serious accident may result. When the side air bag module deploys, always replace both the side
air bag module and the seat back (pad, frame, trim) with new parts. After service, confirm that the seat operates normally and that the harness is
positioned properly.
