1. Assemble the joint shaft using a press and the SST. 

DUST COVER (DIFFERENTIAL SIDE) ASSEMBLY NOTE 

1. Mark the joint shaft as shown in the figure.

Length

89.0 ± 0.5 mm (3.50 ± 0.02 inch)

2. Press in the dust cover to the marked position using a steel plate and the SST. 

3. Verify that the length is within the specification.
