Clean area and wipe residue off with isoprophyl alcohol or brake cleaner. See FIGURE 3.

Apply 3-5 mm wide bead of black sealant (RTV Permatex 16C or equivalent) with a caulking gun along the left and right guide rails, as illustrated
in FIGURE 3, and let dry per manufacturer's instructions.

When sealant is "dry" confirm that the problem was corrected and there are no signs of leakage present.

If leak is detected, particularly from the rear of the glass panel, proceed to Condition C.

If no leak is detected, reassemble the sunroof components except for the decoration cover, and adjust the position of the glass panel according
to the Workshop Manual.
CONDITION "C" - Weatherstrip Replacement
1.
Remove the rear weatherstrip from the glass panel assembly.
2.
Clean the drip rail side with a cutter knife to remove any reside/fragments of the weatherstrip. Then wipe area with Isoprophyl alcohol as
illustrated in FIGURE 4.
3.
Install the modified rear weatherstrip by applying quick-dry adhesive, i.e., Permatex weatherstrip cement. Apply the adhesive at an interval of 50
mm (1.97 in.) from the end of the drip rail, then attach the rear weatherstrip according to illustration FIGURE 4.
CAUTION:
Do not allow clearance between the drip rail and the rear weatherstrip, otherwise water leakage will occur.

Reassemble all the removed sunroof unit components, except for the decoration cover, and reinstall the sliding sunroof unit.
