Brake Master Cylinder: Service and Repair
Master Cylinder, ABS
Replacement
1. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
NOTE: Check the clearance between the push rod of the power brake unit and the piston of the master cylinder. See: Adjustments
2. Install in the reverse order of removal indicated in the table.

Overhaul
CAUTION:

The brake master cylinder is made of aluminum, and can be easily damaged by tightening in a vise. When securing the master cylinder in a vise,
tighten only the master cylinder flange.

If the master cylinder body is damaged, replace the unit as an assembly.
1. Disassemble in the order indicated in the table.
