Thermostat: Service and Repair

REMOVAL  

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Drain the engine coolant.
3. Remove the lower radiator hose.
4. Remove the thermostat cover.
5. Remove the thermostat.

INSTALLATION 

1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
2. Fill the radiator and coolant reservoir with the specified amount arid type of engine coolant.
3. Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
