Oil Pan: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Drain the engine oil.
3. Remove the splash shield.
4. Remove the fresh-air duct.
5. Remove the fan cowling.
6. Remove the engine mount.
a. Install the front engine hanger (JE48 10 561C).
Tightening torque: 32-46 Nm (24-33 ft lbs.)
b. Suspend the engine by using the SST.
c. Remove the engine mount nuts and lift the engine to gain removal clearance.
