Dome Lamp Switch: Component Tests and General Diagnostics

Door Switch Inspection

1. Remove the door switch.

2. Check for continuity between the door switch terminals by using an ohmmeter.

3. If not as specified, replace the door switch.

Panel Light Control Switch Inspection

1. Remove the driver's side side panel.
2. Remove the panel light control switch without disconnecting the connection
3. Measure the voltage at the panel light control switch terminals as indicated below.

4. Disconnect the panel light control switch connector before checking for continuity at terminal G.
5. If not as specified, inspect the parts listed under "Inspection area" and the related wiring harnesses.
6. If the parts and wiring harnesses are okay but the system still does not work properly, replace the panel light control switch.
