DESCRIPTION
When inspecting the fuel control system with an NGS tester, the PID information from the NGS tester may be different from the one mentioned in the
Workshop Manual due to mis-programming of PCMs. The PCM will be modified at the beginning of the 1998 model year.
NOTE:
Service manager should place a copy of the bulletin inside the 1997 MPV Workshop Manual and with the NGS tester.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1.
Connect the NGS tester to the data link connector 2.
2.
After setting up the NGS tester for the MPV, select GENERIC OBDII FUNCTIONS" and press the TRIGGER.
