Hydraulic Control Assembly - Antilock Brakes: Service and Repair
Overhaul

DISASSEMBLY/ ASSEMBLY 

1. Disassemble in the order indicated in the table.
2. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly indicated in the table.

CAUTION:  If the ABS control module is malfunctioning or is not operating properly, replace it with a new one. The precision parts are easily
damaged and if any repairs to the module is attempted, other malfunctions in the system may result.

Do not replace the ABS control module outside in rainy weather or when the humidity is high. Moisture and high humidity have a negative effect
on the precision parts which could become the cause of malfunctions in the system.

CAUTION:  Handle the ABS hydraulic unit carefully. If any of the precision parts are damaged, it may become the cause of malfunctions in the
system.

1. Check that the two central connectors are securely connected, then install the ABS control module to the ABS hydraulic unit.

2. Tighten the bolts in the order shown in the image.
