Fan Blade: Testing and Inspection
INSPECTION
1. Inspect for the following items. Replace as necessary.
1. Fluid leakage from the fan-drive clutch.
2. Deformation of the bimetal.
3. Excessive play of the cooling fan bearing.
4. Grease leakage from the cooling fan bearing.
2. While the engine is warm, turn the cooling fan by hand and verify that resistance is felt. Replace the cooling fan-drive clutch as necessary.
