Hose/Line HVAC: Service and Repair
1. Discharge the refrigerant from the system.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the following parts, depending on pipe and hose to be removed.
CAUTION:

If moisture or foreign material enters the refrigeration cycle, cooling ability will be lowered and abnormal noise will occur. Always
immediately plug all open fittings after removing any refrigeration cycle parts to keep moisture or foreign material out of the cycle.

To prevent the pipe and hose from breaking, loosen the joint by using two open-end wrenches.
4. Remove the cooler hose or pipe as indicated in the table.
CAUTION:
-
To prevent the pipe and hose from breaking, tighten the joint by using an open-end wrench and a torque wrench.

To prevent the O-ring from breaking, tighten the nut or bolt of the joint by hand.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal indicated in the table.
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
7. Charge the system and test its performance.
