Fuel Tank Pressure Release Valve: Testing and Inspection
1. Remove the FTPV.
2. Apply pressure or vacuum to port A of the valve by using a vacuum pump, and inspect airflow.
3. Apply vacuum to port B and verify that no air flows.
4. Apply battery positive voltage to the valve connector and apply pressure to port A, and verify that air flows smoothly.
5. If not as specified, replace the FTPV.
