3. Connect the negative battery cable.
4. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
5. Verify that air bag system warning light illuminates for approximately 6 seconds and then goes off.
6. Verify that diagnostic trouble code 7 is set.
7. If another diagnostic trouble code is set, perform the appropriate AIR BAG SYSTEM ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS. (Refer to AIR BAG SYSTEM
ON- BOARD DIAGNOSIS.)
8. If diagnostic trouble code 7 is set, turn the ignition switch to LOCK.
9. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for more than one minute to allow the backup power supply to deplete its stored power.
10. Install in the order indicated in the table.
11. Carry out the "After Servicing" procedure under AIR BAG SYSTEM GENERAL PROCEDURE. (Refer to AIR BAG SYSTEM GENERAL
PROCEDURE.)
