1.
On manual transaxle models with single speed motors, disconnect fan motor connector, then connect a battery and ammeter to fan motor as
shown in Fig. 10.
2.
Ensure fan operates smoothly. and amperage is between 11-12.1 amps. If not, replace fan motor.
3.
On automatic transaxle models with two speed motors, disconnect fan connector, then connect a battery and ammeter to connector for low
speed testing as shown in Fig. 10.
4.
Ensure fan operates at low speed, and amperage is 12-13.2 amps. If not, replace fan motor.
5.
Connect battery, ammeter and switch to high speed side of two speed fan, Fig. 11. Turn switch On and ensure fan operates smoothly. Amperage
should be between 16.8-17.5 amps. If not, replace fan motor.
