DESCRIPTION
Some vehicles may experience poor A/C performance. The cause is insufficient air flow across the A/C condenser.
A modified sub-harness has been developed to allow both the A/C and engine cooling fans to operate simultaneously and improve condenser air flow.
NOTE:
Prior to installing this sub-harness, verify the A/C system has the correct amount of refrigerant charge and check for any other conditions which may
contribute to poor A/C performance - refrigerant leakage or poor A/C connections.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1.
Disconnect the battery negative cable.
2.
Obtain 1 new sub-harness (EAY1 61 54X) and 9 tie-wraps (NA02 61 435). Examine the couplers at each end of the harness. One end of the
harness has two 6-pin connectors each with 4 terminals. The other end of the harness also has two 6-pin connectors; one with 5 terminals, the other
with 6 terminals.
