Transmission Position Switch/Sensor: Adjustments
Inhibitor Switch Adjustment
1.
Turn manual shaft to "N" position.
2.
Loosen switch mounting bolts.
3.
Remove screw plug and align holes of inhibitor switch and manual shaft lever by inserting a pin of approximately 2.0 mm (0.079 in) OD.
4.
Torque mounting bolts to 8 - 11 Nm (69 - 95 in lb).
5.
Recheck continuity across connector terminals. If not correct, replace switch.
6.
Install selector lever and torque to 44 - 64 Nm (33 - 47 ft lb).
