Inspection Procedure
POWER ANTENNA RELAY INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1.
Check the antenna mast for damage.

If damaged, repair and retest.

If no damage is found, proceed to step 2.
2.
Inspect the power antenna relay connector (pin-4 arid 9) for corrosion and/or bent or pushed out terminals.

If the terminals are damaged, repair as necessary and retest.
^
If the terminals are not damaged, proceed to step 3.
3.
Disconnect the power antenna relay connector.
4.
Connect a jumper wire between the terminals of the female connector (pin-9).
5.
Observe the antenna operation.

Short Circuited
B-G, F-H
Antenna should raise
B-H, C-F
Antenna should lower

If the power antenna operates smoothly, proceed to step 7.

If the antenna does not operate smoothly, proceed to step 6.
6.
Inspect the following and repair as necessary. If no problem(s) is found, replace the power antenna relay.
