DESCRIPTION
MIL illuminates and DTC P0470 is stored in the memory. This is caused by one of the following two reasons:

The vacuum hose between the EGR boost sensor and the EGR valve may become disconnected at the EGR valve side.
^
When the engine is started at the ambient temperature of 32°F (0°C) or lower, the MIL illuminates, which is caused when water from condensation is
frozen in the vacuum tube.
Customers complaining of this subject should have their vehicle repaired using the following procedure.
