Shift Interlock Solenoid: Testing and Inspection
1. Remove the column cover.
2. Disconnect the key interlock solenoid connector.
3. Insert the ignition key in the key cylinder.
4. Apply battery positive voltage between terminals B and C. and verify that the solenoid operates.
5. If not as specified, replace the key interlock solenoid.
