Saturate the urethane adhesive strip remaining on the scuff plate.
3.
Wipe the remaining adhesive off of the scuff plate and side sill.
4.
Install the scuff plate service kit.

Attach the protective tape to both ends of the scuff plate (Parts A1 and A2).
^
Attach the urethane tape (Part B) and the protective washers (Part C1 and 02) to the scuff plate.
5.
Install scuff plate.
^
Tighten four (4) tapping screws.
